Springboard to Opportunities
Springboard was founded in 2003 by the Wishcamper family to “create more impact through resident services.”
Since its inception, Aisha Nyandoro has been the Chief Executive Officer and thought leader behind its radically resident-driven approach. In 2018, she launched The Magnolia Mother’s Trust, a pioneering guaranteed income program in affordable housing. It’s the longest running cash transfer program in the United States and has spurred a movement of over 100 programs across the country. Its success has informed national policy, and Aisha’s expertise and the program have been featured in almost every major media outlet, including The New York Times, PBS, Forbes, Time Magazine, goop, CNBC, and NPR.
